Join us at one of the region's most picturesque urban farms for a gathering with local food policy enthusiasts from Long Beach Fresh and beyond. Kathleen Blakistone, Lecturer in the Department of Plant Science at Huntley College of Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona, will be our esteemed host and chief enthusiast for the event. Melanie Wong from the California Food Policy Council, LB Fresh,  the team from the LA Food Policy Council, and the Southwest Regional Food Business Center will offer valuable insights into state-level developments, and we'll engage in meaningful discussions about the current landscape and future directions of local food policy initiatives.
